MoneyManagerEx Project (“us”, “we”, or “our”) develops Money ManagerEx for Android (the “App”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of the App.

We use your information only for providing and improving the App. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Among the types of Personal Data that this Application collects, by itself or through third parties, there are: Device Information, Device ID, Database Path, Cloud Storage Name, and App Interactions, optionally log crash.

  • Device Information: Operating system version and device model.
  • Device ID: Unique identifiers used for analytics.
  • Database Path: The local file path where the database is stored on the device.
  • Cloud Storage Name: The name of the service used for synchronization (e.g., Dropbox, Google Drive).
  • App Interactions: Actions performed within the app, such as “start sync” or “stop sync”.
  • Log Crash: User can optionally add log crash in sharing page if an error occurs.

Voluntary Nature of Data Collection The collection of analytics data via Amplitude is disabled by default. The User must explicitly enable the “Send Anonymous Data” option in the App settings for this collection to occur. If the setting remains off, no analytics data is transmitted.

Mode and Place of Processing the Data

Methods of Processing

The Data Controller processes the Data of Users in a proper manner and takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the Data. Processing is carried out using computers and IT-enabled tools.

Place

The Data is processed at the user devices and in any other places where the parties involved with the processing are located.

Retention Time

The Data is kept for the time necessary to provide the service requested by the User. The User can always request the Data Controller to remove the data.

Analytics

The services contained in this section enable the Owner to monitor and analyze app usage to improve the service.

Amplitude (Amplitude, Inc.) This Application uses Amplitude to track User interactions and app performance.

  • Personal Data collected: Device Information (OS version, Model), Device ID, Database Path, Cloud Storage Name, and App Interactions.
  • Purpose: To understand how the app is used and to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Consent: This is an optional service. It is only active if the User opts-in via the app settings.

The Rights of Users

Users have the right, at any time, to know whether their Personal Data has been stored. Users can consult the Data Controller to verify accuracy or ask for data to be cancelled, updated, or corrected. Requests should be sent to the Data Controller at the contact information provided above.
